About Me

 

I'm an Instructional Technologist for the College of Letters & Science at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. I hold an M.A. in Adult Education with an emphasis on Instructional Technology. I research best uses of new technology to enhance teaching and student learning, provide technical support and training for Canvas LMS, H5P, ePortfolio systems, online meeting tools, and additional ed. tech. tools used by individual instructors in the college. I create resource materials such as job aids, tutorials, screencasts, and online classes to support the use of technology at UWM.  I partner with faculty to explore effective integration of collaborative technologies and social media in learning environments. I deliver software training and teach workshops on best practices in pedagogy and course design.

 

From my previous roles as a manager of Instructional Technology at Alverno College and a supervisor of Web and Technology at Fortune 500 health insurance company and senior technical writer at a software company, I have a strong background in leadership, website usability/accessibility, instructional design, and writing for the Web.
